Bringing the Tree Home is an officially licensed Department 56 A Christmas Story Village accessory for village collectors and A Christmas Story fans, made exclusively for the House from A Christmas Story in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Old Man, a blue car, and a Christmas tree strapped to the roof. What could possibly go wrong? (Spoiler: a flat tire, a hubcap of lug nuts, and the most legendary slip of the tongue in holiday movie history.) This hand-painted porcelain piece captures the ride home before it all went sideways. Retired once, brought back by Department 56, and now made exclusively for the real House from A Christmas Story.
